Hiawatha Elementary School is a K-5 building with a Dual Language Kindergarten and co-teaching special education classrooms in grades K-5.  During a site visit to Hiawatha, you will see many tools being utilized in our 1:1 iPad classrooms:  a variety of classrooms using apps to engage students in learning such as Go Formative, eSpark and ClassKick just to name a few, the use of blendspace to differentiate learning, primary classrooms utilizing the Showbie app to provide feedback and communication, flexible seating in many classrooms and classrooms utilizing Schoology to promote teacher and student feedback.  Our classrooms are also equipped with Apple TV’s and Smartboards to aid classroom instruction. While visiting Hiawatha, visitors can look forward to hearing from students who are excited to share their 1:1 experiences and from teachers who have a passion for engaging students in meaningful learning. #HiawathaPride
